The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirkham looks to score with a jab to the body but Lee is just out of range.
Kirkham shoots in for a takedown but Lee shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Kirkham shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lee defends it nicely.
Horrible takedown by Kirkham or perhaps it was just good defense by Lee which made him look bad.
Jermaine Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Craig Kirkham.
Lee throws a sloppy head kick and Kirkham moves out of range easily.
Kirkham lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lee circles away quickly and effectively.
Kirkham moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Kirkham pushes a forearm under Lee's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Lee is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
