Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Chuck McIntyre!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nathan Summers!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Jeff Smith and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decent striking displayed by Summers there.
McIntyre slips a jab from Summers.
McIntyre fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Summers checks it well.
McIntyre throws a head kick that misses.
The crowd cheers as Summers lands an impressive looking overhand right. McIntyre doesn't seem phased though.
A good leg kick by McIntyre.
Summers cracks McIntyre with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
McIntyre keeps Summers at a distance using the push kick.
McIntyre jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Some wild striking there from Summers.
McIntyre takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from McIntyre, right into the meat.
Summers throws a combination but it was largely blocked by McIntyre.
McIntyre avoids a punch combination nicely.
A punch combination from Summers misses.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McIntyre misses with a looping left.
McIntyre cracks the inside of Summers's front leg.
McIntyre throws a sloppy head kick and Summers moves out of range easily.

McIntyre needs to keep his hands up - Summers had a free shot at his head there.
Summers slips under a jab from McIntyre.

Summers closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Summers is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but McIntyre is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
McIntyre can't do much from the bottom here.
McIntyre is trying to get back to half guard.

Summers wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by McIntyre, who protects the arm well.

Summers tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Summers landing strikes.

Summers tries for a kimura but McIntyre is defending well.
McIntyre manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

McIntyre prevents Summers from improving his position.
Summers gets full guard.
McIntyre stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Summers swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Summers is looking to stand up but McIntyre isn't so interested in that idea.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Summers had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. McIntyre defends it easily.
McIntyre tries to free his leg and advance position but Summers is retaining full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Summers goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
McIntyre throws a right hand that Summers ducks under and follows up with a left that Summers also avoids with ease.
Summers misses with a wild combination.
Summers throws a series of punches but McIntyre avoids them all with ease.
Summers fails to land with a series of punches.
McIntyre misses with a low kick.
McIntyre avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Summers throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck McIntyre on the side of the head.
McIntyre throws a leg kick
and Summers counters with a left and a right that stings McIntyre.
McIntyre connects with a looping right hand.
Summers ducks right into an uppercut from McIntyre.
Summers tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McIntyre showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Summers.
McIntyre throws a leg kick but Summers moved away.
McIntyre avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
McIntyre connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

McIntyre plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
McIntyre throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Summers sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Summers with a nice cross.
McIntyre throws a head kick but Summers moves out of range.
McIntyre throws a leg kick that misses.
McIntyre tries to move into range but Summers moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Nathan Summers is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Summers connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed McIntyre momentarily.
McIntyre on the wrong end of a nice jab.


McIntyre is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A combination from Summers does no damage.
Oh McIntyre is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
McIntyre gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Summers gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! McIntyre is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
