Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Parry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gregg Mullen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Gregg Mullen!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Donald Grub and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parry tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Parry defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mullen.
Mullen is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Parry.

Parry fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mullen, pushing him back against the cage.
Parry prevents the takedown attempt.
Parry dodges an elbow strike from Mullen.

Parry breaks from the clinch.
Parry misses with a head kick.
Parry shoots in for a takedown but Mullen shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Mullen swinging wildly here.
Mullen circles away from the clinch attempt.

Mullen moves into the clinch.
Mullen is trying to break the clinch but Parry has him pressed against the cage.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Parry goes for a takedown attempt but Mullen pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Parry stuffs the takedown attempt from Mullen. Mullen gets slowly back to his feet.

Mullen tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Parry swivels and escapes.

Parry stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Parry wants it to stay on the feet.

Parry breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Parry tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mullen swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Mullen throws a head kick that misses.
Parry will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Parry slaps away a takedown attempt from Mullen, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Mullen looks winded!
Parry leaves Mullen with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Parry looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mullen is fending him off so far but Parry persists. Nope, Mullen circles away and we're back to standing.

Mullen fails with the takedown.
Parry shoots in but Mullen avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Mullen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Parry avoids it really well and circles away.
Mullen throws the kick towards the body but Parry avoids it.
Mullen shoots for a double leg takedown but Parry sprawls well. He's pushed Mullen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Parry fails with an attempt to clinch.
Parry throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Mullen is looking to clinch.
Parry tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mullen swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Parry shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Parry clinches with his opponent.
Mullen has Parry pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Parry manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Mullen slows down the pace here.
Parry tries to pull guard but Mullen won't allow it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Parry breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mullen looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Parry shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mullen pinned against the cage. Mullen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Mullen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Mullen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Parry's waist but Parry gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mullen off to one side.

The fight stays on the outside here - Mullen looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Mullen shoots in for a double leg but Parry sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Mullen shoots in but Parry avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mullen is defended easily by Parry.
Jack Parry is winning the standup battle so far.
Parry is looking to clinch but Mullen is avoiding it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Gregg Mullen will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Mullen is looking to clinch but Parry is avoiding it.
Mullen tries to score a power double leg takedown but Parry sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mullen somewhat.

Parry shoots in looking for a takedown. Mullen tries to sprawl out of it but Parry keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mullen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Mullen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Parry paws at him with a jab and circles away.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jack Parry.
Well Parry has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
