Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Violence Overkill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sen Tseia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Violence Overkill has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sen Tseia!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Overkill gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Tseia counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Tseia stalling.
Overkill wants to get back to full guard.

and Tseia counters by moving into the clinch.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Well, if Tseia is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Tseia wants to stand but Overkill has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Tseia seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Overkill shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Tseia decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Overkill's guard.
Tseia is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Tseia's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Overkill has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tseia can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tseia is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Sen Tseia hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Overkill has his foot on Tseia's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tseia works his way back into a safe position though.

Tseia really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Overkill. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Sen Tseia wasn't active enough on the ground.
Tseia tries to bum rush Overkill with a series of wild strikes but Overkill uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tseia lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Overkill circles away quickly and effectively.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Overkill working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tseia doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tseia manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sen Tseia comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Tseia has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
