Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Dante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Steak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Dante! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chuck Steak! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dante shoots in but Steak avoids the takedown attempt easily. Steak thows a body shot but no joy. Steak throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Steak is looking to chop away at Dante's legs. Steak misses with a looping right. Dante closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Steak to the mat! Steak manages to get full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Steak has his foot on Dante's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dante works his way back into a safe position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dante trying to control the position from guard on top but Steak is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Steak trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Steak keeping full guard, as Dante tries to pass. Steak looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Dante is working Steak over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steak wants to stand and escape but Dante is having none of it. Dante sitting in guard, not really doing much. Steak manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Dante wants to hold on but Steak pushes him away. Dante really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Dante regains half guard. Dante won't allow Steak to pass to mount. Dante works his way to full guard. Good work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Steak in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Steak has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Dante is proving hard to escape from. Steak looks gassed! Steak wants to stand and escape but instead Dante has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Dante stays in close to Steak's body and controls the position. Dante trying to control but Steak is working from the bottom. Steak looking for a sweep. Not yet Steak, not yet. Dante scoring with some ground and pound. Steak keeping moving, preventing Dante from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dante won't allow Steak to sweep him here. Dante trying to control but Steak is working from the bottom.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Dante looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Steak misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dante.
Dante bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Dante is looking to take a break and control but Steak is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Steak takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Dante passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Steak! Dante controlling from the full mount. Steak really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Steak wants to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tony Dante dominated that round. That's time! Dante's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Steak throws a right and a left that Dante avoids nicely. Dante swats away the attempt to clinch by Steak. Steak throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dante. Dante blocks a head kick by Steak.
Steak throws a right and a left that Dante avoids nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Steak tries to keep at a distance but Dante has taken the fight into the clinch. Dante just leaning against Steak, taking a breather.

Steak is breathing heavily. Dante drags the fight down to the ground.
Steak wants to stand but Dante has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Dante pulls Steak in close to prevent any damage. Steak won't allow Dante to sweep him here. Dante bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Steak's guard. Steak looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dante is one step ahead there. Dante working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Steak's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dante wants to pass the guard but Steak is keeping the position. Steak wants to stand but Dante is controlling the position. Dante controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Steak is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Dante wants to pass the guard but Steak is keeping the position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Steak looks to clinch and Dante counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Steak!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Steak tries to get back to half guard but can't. Dante has hold of Steak's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Steak manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Dante swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Steak is now in Dante's guard. A big mistake from Dante there, giving up the dominant position! Steak gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Steak swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
so Dante counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Dante trying to control the position from guard on top but Steak is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Steak tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dante stops Steak from standing up. Steak is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Steak looking to control but Dante passes into half guard.
Steak is trying to stand back up but Dante is controlling him
Dante wants to pass to mount but Steak is defending the position. Tony Dante overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Dante misses with a jab, cross combination.

and Dante holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Dante counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Steak's guard now. Dante is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Steak has his feet on Dante's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dante. Steak throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Dante counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Steak is looking to escape. Dante wants to control but Steak is keeping him busy. Dante lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dante passes to full mount! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Steak is trying to stand. Dante manages to capitalize on a mistake by Steak to take his back! Steak can't escape the position.
Dante is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Steak knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Steak for a finish. Steak is keeping busy.
Steak is trying to stand back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. I really don't envy Steak right now.
Dante doesn't have the hooks in and Steak manages to turn into his guard.

Steak decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Dante fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Steak sprawls well initially but Dante persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Steak looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Steak scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Dante manages to mount him!
Dante wants to take Steak's back but he can't do it this time. Dante tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Dante trying to control but he's not successful this time. Dante is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Steak is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Steak regains half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Steak pushes Dante off but Dante dives into side control.
Dante is looking to take a break and control but Steak is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Dante working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Steak is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Dante asserts his dominance and retains side control. Chuck Steak has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dante working the head and body with strikes.
And that's the end of the fight! Tony Dante showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dante, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
