Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ben Goldberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan Christopher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ben Goldberg! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bryan Christopher! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Goldberg shoots in but no luck this time. Goldberg fails to land the takedown. Goldberg swings for the body but Christopher moves out of range.
Goldberg shoots for a double leg takedown but Christopher sprawls well. He's pushed Goldberg's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ben Goldberg. That's going to take a lot out of him. Christopher shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Christopher was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Goldberg manages to regain half guard. Good work. Goldberg is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Christopher pulls his head out easily. Goldberg is looking for a sweep. Christopher is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Christopher in particular looking to stall. Christopher wants to get back to his feet.
Goldberg wants to control but Christopher is keeping busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Christopher is trying to control the action in half guard but Goldberg is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Christopher sitting and controlling from the half guard. Goldberg wants to improve his position but Christopher is controlling well.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A chopping leg kick lands by Christopher. Goldberg doesn't succeed with the takedown and Christopher counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Goldberg! Goldberg is breathing heavily. Christopher avoids the attempt from Goldberg to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Goldberg in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Christopher is landing with some decent strikes but Goldberg is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Christopher trying to control but he's not successful this time. Christopher tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Goldberg really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Christopher takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Goldberg wants to control but Christopher is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Christopher looking to control and managing it successfully. Goldberg is looking to get to half guard. Goldberg is working hard here to advance position. Christopher wants to control the pace but Goldberg is squirming around nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Goldberg is wriggling around trying to escape.
Christopher controlling the pace for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. I looks like Christopher might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Christopher lands with some strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bryan Christopher dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Goldberg misses with a takedown and Christopher counters with a nice body kick.
Goldberg keeps the fight on the outside. Goldberg with a lazy takedown attempt and Goldberg takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Christopher looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Goldberg misses with a low kick as Christopher jumps back. Goldberg shoots and misses and Christopher counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Goldberg! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ben Goldberg. That's going to take a lot out of him. Christopher prevents Goldberg from getting the reversal. Christopher trying to control but he's not successful this time. Goldberg is desperately trying to improve his position but Christopher has a good base and remains in mount. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Christopher cracks Goldberg with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Despite being in the dominant position, Bryan Christopher just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A punch combination from Christopher misses. Goldberg misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Christopher decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Christopher prevents Goldberg from improving his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Christopher slows the pace down in half guard. Goldberg is looking to improve his position.
Christopher controlling the action here. Goldberg wants to improve his position but Christopher is controlling well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Goldberg walks into a straight right hand from Christopher. Christopher throws a head kick but Goldberg moves out of range.
Christopher's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Christopher duly obliges. Christopher lands a slapping body shot.
Goldberg throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Christopher gets a clinch. Goldberg wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Christopher has him pressed against the cage. Christopher wants a takedown but no success here.
Christopher tries to score a body lock takedown but Goldberg shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Goldberg drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Christopher gets the underhooks and prevents it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bryan Christopher showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Christopher seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Goldberg does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Christopher gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Goldberg tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Christopher counters with a nice double leg into side control. Goldberg won't be happy with that.
That's one minute gone in the round. Christopher is looking to take a break and control but Goldberg is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Goldberg manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Goldberg is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Goldberg with shots to the head and body - Christopher looks very uncomfortable down there. Goldberg unloading with bombs! Christopher is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Goldberg can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Christopher is looking to escape. Goldberg putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Goldberg lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Goldberg controlling from mount. Goldberg postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Christopher looks a forlorn figure.

Christopher is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Goldberg has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Goldberg in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Ben Goldberg has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Christopher takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Bryan Christopher. Well Christopher has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
