Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Federiq Santos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tomas Paldino! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Joseph Jones and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paldino tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Santos swivels and escapes. Paldino is looking to clinch. Paldino tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Santos tries to bum rush Paldino with a series of wild strikes but Paldino uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Paldino tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Santos paws at him with a jab and circles away. Paldino fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Santos looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Paldino is fending him off so far but Santos persists. Nope, Paldino circles away and we're back to standing. Paldino takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

It looks like Federiq Santos has been cut. Santos keeps the fight on the outside. Santos circles away from the clinch attempt.
Paldino tries to clinch up. Paldino shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Santos as he jumps to the side. Federiq Santos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tomas Paldino. Santos throws a combination. Paldino tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

That's one minute gone in the round. Santos throws a left and a right that both miss
so Paldino counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Paldino is still in real trouble! Can Santos finish him? Santos trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Santos trying to control the position here. Santos has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Paldino doesn't defend quickly enough and Santos has managed to lock this one up! Can Paldino escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Santos on a fantastic submission victory.
