0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Albert Gore! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Matheus Silva and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! China throws a quick inside leg kick. Gore swats away the attempt to clinch by China. Gore circles away from the clinch attempt.
Gore tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but China swivels and escapes. China tries to clinch there but Gore circles away.
China tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gore paws at him with a jab and circles away. China swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Gore has managed to clinch.
China avoiding damage as Gore throws knees to the body.
China breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. China doesn't manage to clinch there - Gore circles away.
China stuffs the takedown. China is looking to clinch. China misses with a series of wild punches.
Gore tries to close the distance and clinch but China swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. China tries to clinch but Gore is having none of it. Gore closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. China looks like he's trying to stand up.
Gore is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's one minute gone in the round. China tries to kick Gore off but Gore keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Gore decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Eduardo China seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gore fails with an attempt to clinch.
China tries to clinch up but Gore circles away and keeps his distance. China darts in trying to clinch and Gore counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. China is trying to stand back up but Gore is controlling him
China is looking to get back to is feet but Gore passes into side control.
China is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gore stands up and beckons China to his feet. China gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. China wants to stand but Gore is controlling the position. China is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Gore dives into side control.
China is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Gore asserts his dominance and retains side control. China wants to get back to his feet but Gore is dominant here and he's now got China's back! China wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Gore.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gore looking to control and managing it successfully. Gore won't let China get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Gore is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! China is forced to tap! Great finish!
