The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Illya Tyunina and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clifton throws a right and a left that Inclan avoids nicely.
Clifton shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Inclan as he avoids it easily.
Reece Clifton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Clifton fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Inclan avoids it really well and circles away.
Clifton throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Clifton tries to score a power double leg takedown but Inclan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Clifton somewhat.

Inclan ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

and Inclan counters with a low kick, right behind Clifton 's knee.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Inclan is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Clifton knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Clifton for a finish.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Inclan lands with a hammerfist to the side of Clifton's head.

Inclan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Inclan wants it to stay on the feet.

Inclan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Inclan is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Clifton is looking to get back to full guard here but Inclan has managed to pass to side control instead.
Inclan looks up at the clock and then as Clifton takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Inclan smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Inclan is working Clifton over with some ground and pound from side control.
Clifton tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Inclan jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Clifton manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Inclan lands a few punches from side control.
Clifton is rocked!

Inclan working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
