Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Neil Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Stump (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Neil Hill has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Neil Hill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nate Stump! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stump throws a head kick but Hill moves out of range.
Stump avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hill tries a head kick but it misses.
Stump throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Hill tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Hill throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Stump keeps the fight on the outside. Stump drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Stump prevents Hill from escaping the position. Stump is staying tight to Hill's torso, preventing him from escaping. Stump is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hill knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Stump looks up at the clock and then as Hill takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Stump smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
That's one minute gone in the round. Stump controlling the position. Hill knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Stump on the ground. Hill is trying to buck Stump off. Stump decides to stand back up. Stump steps back and let's Hill get back to his feet. Hill throws a leg kick but Stump sees it coming and checks it nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hill is looking to clinch but Stump is avoiding it.
Stump keeps the fight on the outside. Hill misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hill tries to clinch up. Stump shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Stump controlling the action here. Stump stops Hill from getting back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stump keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Nate Stump hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Stump darts in and clinches Hill up against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Hill's face as he tries to break the clinch. Hill manages to break the clinch.
Hill throws a head kick that misses. Stump swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Hill throws a head kick that misses. Hill is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stump gets in close and instigates a clinch. Hill landing knees to the body.
Stump has Hill pressed against the cage, preventing Hill from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Hill looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Stump is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Hill pulls him back up using the underhooks. Stump working hard to break the clinch. Stump has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Hill after a bit of a struggle. Hill just leaning against Stump, taking a breather. Hill can't break the clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hill prevents a takedown attempt there.
Neil Hill has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nate Stump. Hill's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nate Stump dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Hill throws a low kick but Stump moves out of range easily. Stump darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Stump controlling the action here. Hill on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hill tries to get out of the position. Stump prevents Hill from standing back up.
Stump takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Stump is breathing heavily.

Nate Stump has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Hill doesn't manage to clinch there - Stump circles away.

Hill is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Hill is looking to clinch but Stump is avoiding it.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Hill enables Stump to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hill manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Stump's corner is telling him to maintain position. Stump gets to his feet - Hill follows without any prompting. Hill defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Stump. Hill is looking to clinch. Neil Hill is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Hill has Stump up against the cage in a clinch.

Hill's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Hill, right into the meat.
Hill stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hill wants it to stay on the feet. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hill pushes Stump away with a front kick. Stump moves out of range of the body kick. Hill throws a head kick that misses. Neil Hill is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Stump blocks the body kick.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Hill. Stump swats away the attempt to clinch by Hill. Hill tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hill throws a head kick that misses. Nice takedown defense from Hill. No joy for Stump on that attempt. Neil Hill has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nate Stump. Hill throws a solid leg kick but Stump takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Hill. Hill throws the kick towards the body but Stump avoids it. Hill looks to land a body kick but Stump moved away. Stump tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hill swivels and escapes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A nice leg kick lands there from Hill. Stump takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. A head kick misses from Hill. Stump takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hill misses with a kick to the body.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Stump. Hill wants to clinch but Stump slips to the side and Stump counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Stump wants to pass to mount but Hill is defending the position. Stump looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Stump stalling. Stump takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hill pushes Stump off looking to stand but Stump dives back in and keeps control.
Nate Stump has got the better of the ground game so far. Still in half guard, Stump seems content to control. Hill is looking to escape.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Nate Stump hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Hill is looking to clinch. Hill moves in looking to clinch but Stump pushes him off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stump looks for a takedown but Hill sprawls well. Stump moves out of range of the body kick from Hill.
Hill tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Stump paws at him with a jab and circles away. Stump shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hill but Hill pushes him off and we're back to square one. Neil Hill has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nate Stump. Hill fails with an attempt to clinch.

Hill cracks the inside of Stump's front leg. Hill is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hill lands a nice looking body kick. Hill tries to clinch up. Hill tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Hill lands with a slapping head kick. Hill instigates a clinch. Hill pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Stump scores with a takedown into Hill's guard. Hill can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Stump controls the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stump is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Stump trying to control the position from guard on top but Hill is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Stump with a flurry of punches that miss. Stump passes Hill's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Stump scores with a couple of good hammerfists. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Stump trying to control the pace. Hill wants to get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Nate Stump comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Stump has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
