Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andreas Donovan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andreas Donovan will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donovan defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Taylor.
Donovan fails with the takedown.
Donovan slaps away a takedown attempt from Taylor, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Taylor changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Donovan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
You can see the frustration on Donovan's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Donovan holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.

Taylor thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Taylor has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Donovan is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Taylor yanks on the arm and Donovan is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Taylor.

Mark Taylor spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
