Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fabricio Thiago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Lok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Fabricio Thiago!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kevin Lok!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thiago loads up on a big right hand but Lok slips the punch.

Thiago has managed to clinch.

Thiago has hold of one of Lok's legs. Lok is fighting the takedown attempt but Thiago gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Thiago throwing strikes but missing.
Lok is trying to keep Thiago in close.
Thiago throws a big elbow that misses.
Lok avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Thiago is in close to Lok's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Thiago postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Lok is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Thiago is aware though and is defending well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lok shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Thiago but Thiago pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Thiago has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lok can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Thiago wants to sweep but no luck.

Lok got a little sloppy there for a moment and Thiago has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lok has managed to get both his arms back between Thiago's legs - danger averted.
Lok controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Lok passes Thiago's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lok might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Thiago haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Lok is working for an americana but Thiago has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Lok was thinking about the submission.

Thiago throws his legs up looking for a submission but Lok uses it to pass to side control.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lok fails to land a wild elbow strike.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Fabricio Thiago will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Thiago displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lok.
Lok keeps the fight on the outside.
Thiago throws a shot from downtown. Lok moves away and avoids it.
Thiago throws a leg kick that is checked

and Lok counters with a head kick that drops Thiago - he's looking to finish, following his stunned foe to the ground!

Lok seems to be working for a kimura but Thiago defends the submission attempt.
Thiago is looking to control Lok's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Thiago avoid being mounted?
Lok wants to take a breather but Thiago is having none of it.
Thiago moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Thiago is pulling down on Lok's head. It's preventing any offense from Lok, at least for the moment.

Lok seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Thiago does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Lok sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Thiago's guard.

Lok looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Fabricio Thiago overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Lok is looking to take a break and control but Thiago is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Lok works his foot free and advances to mount.
Lok lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Thiago hang on?

Lok jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Thiago manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Lok wants to control but Thiago is keeping him busy.
Thiago tries to buck Lok off but Lok is having none of it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lok has knee on belly and moves into mount.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lok avoids the attempt from Thiago to control.

Lok is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Thiago can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Kevin Lok showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Lok ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Lok moves out of range as Thiago strikes.
Lok misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Thiago misses with a hook.
Thiago looks to land a left hand but Lok moved out of range nicely.
Lok staying out of range there.

Lok shoots in and bounces Thiago off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Lok trying to control but Thiago is working from the bottom.

Thiago is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Lok stands and throws Thiago's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Lok tries to advance to mount but Thiago denies him.

Lok tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lok has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Lok is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Thiago is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Lok is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Thiago knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Lok slows the pace down.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Lok is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Thiago is trying to escape and Lok transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Thiago is forced to tap! Nice work there by Lok! Very nice indeed!

A relieved looking Kevin Lok thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
