Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trey Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greg Garrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Greg Garrison! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Viktor Lagutenko and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson misses with a head kick.
Johnson throws a series of punches but Garrison avoids them all with ease. Johnson lands a leg kick that knocks Garrison off balance momentarily. Garrison takes one to the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Johnson misses with a combination
and Garrison counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Johnson trying to control here.
Johnson wants to get back to his feet.
Garrison thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Garrison missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Garrison looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Johnson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Garrison stops Johnson from getting back to his feet.
Garrison passes to side control. Johnson dodges the ground and pound from Garrison. Johnson is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Garrison is controlling him well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Johnson wants to get back to his feet but Garrison drags him back down. Garrison has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Wooooo! Garrison throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Johnson manages to work his way to half guard, despite Garrison's best efforts. Garrison lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Garrison is taking a breather. Johnson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Garrison is looking to take a break and control but Johnson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Johnson trying to hold on to Garrison's head to control him but Garrison postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Garrison wants to pass to mount but Johnson is defending the position. Garrison scoring with strikes to the body and head. Johnson is trying to stand up here but Garrison is controlling him well. Garrison looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Garrison is controlling the pace.
Johnson is not content to let Garrison control the position. Garrison moves into full mount! Johnson won't be happy about that! Garrison scores with a couple of good head shots there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Garrison raining down shots from the mount! Oooooh, big shot lands for Garrison! Johnson is hurt baaadly! Garrison is firing away with more strikes - Johnson is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
