Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Hal Moodheads! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ezekyle Abaddon! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Atkins and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Abaddon tries to score with a low kick but Moodheads moves his leg out of the way. Moodheads shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Moodheads was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Abaddon is looking for a sweep. Moodheads is trying to get an arm triangle but Abaddon is defending well. Moodheads is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Abaddon is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. That's one minute gone in the round. Moodheads is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Abaddon knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. You can see the frustration on Abaddon's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Abaddon can do anything to dispel that myth. Abaddon is looking to reverse the position. Moodheads tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Abaddon knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Abaddon manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Moodheads is pressing down on Abaddon's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Abaddon avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Moodheads looking for a triangle here. Abaddon is fighting it but it looks tight! Moodheads pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Abaddon is tapping out - this one is all over!
