Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aloysius Martin Thesz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Machado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machado is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Bate Pesadão. Aloysius Martin Thesz has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Aloysius Martin Thesz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Daniel Machado! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Matheus Silva and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thesz throws a sloppy head kick and Machado moves out of range easily. Thesz lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Thesz uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Machado.
Machado is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Thesz.
It looks like Daniel Machado has been cut. Thesz takes a body punch but keeps moving. This has been an exciting period of action! Machado misses with a few strikes there.
Machado connects with a nice looking jab.
Thesz displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Machado throws out the jab. Machado tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Thesz was well out of range. Poor timing from Machado. The fight stays on the outside here - Thesz looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Good shot there by Machado. Machado misses with a left hand and Thesz counters with a one-two to the body. A bone on bone clash there as Machado blocks the leg kick.
Thesz tries to clinch up. Machado fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Thesz manages to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Machado throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Thesz counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Machado dodges the punch combination from Thesz.
Thesz keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Thesz looks to score with a jab to the body but Machado is just out of range. Machado takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Thesz throws a big shot that misses. Daniel Machado is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Machado misses with a wild body shot. Machado swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Thesz tries to score with a low kick but Machado moves his leg out of the way. Machado misses with a straight right. Daniel Machado seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Machado misses with a left hand and Thesz counters with a single leg into guard. Machado didn't expect that. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Machado is trying to control the position but Thesz postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Machado looking to hit a scissor sweep but Thesz is one step ahead there. Thesz with a nice head shot there. Machado wants to sweep here but Thesz controlling him for the moment. Thesz looking to pass the guard. Thesz stands and throws Machado's legs to the side, diving into side control. Thesz advances to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Thesz controlling the position easily from mount. Thesz lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Machado hang on? Thesz controlling from mount. Thesz is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Machado to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Machado shrugs it off. Machado is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Thesz looking to control but Machado is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Machado reaches up to try and control the position but Thesz seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Machado rolls and tries to escape and now Thesz has his back!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Machado turns into Thesz and is now in his guard.
Thesz not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Thesz looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Machado passes into side control.
Thesz is positioning himself to get back to half guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Machado trying to control the action but Thesz is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aloysius Martin Thesz dominated that round. The cut man is working on Daniel Machado's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Machado works the jab nicely. Machado lands a nice shot to the body.
Machado throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Machado gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Machado misses with a looping right. Machado throws a big shot that misses. Machado misses with a wild body shot. Thesz shoots in looking for a takedown. Machado tries to sprawl out of it but Thesz keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Machado manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Thesz throws a series of punches but Machado avoids them all with ease.
That's one minute gone in the round. Thesz slips a straight right by Machado. Nice uppercut lands for Machado. That snapped Thesz's head back.
Thesz misses with a series of wild punches.
Thesz on the wrong end of a nice jab. Thesz shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Thesz uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Machado. Thesz throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A punch combination from Thesz misses. Daniel Machado seems to be getting the better of the standup. Machado drops Thesz with a huge uppercut! Thesz drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Machado is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Daniel Machado! A relieved looking Daniel Machado thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
