Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Leon Pasquale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denis Kang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Pasquale might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Fight Like A Brave. Leon Pasquale could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Denis Kang's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Leon Pasquale! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Denis Kang! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pasquale steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kang. Kang's corner calls for a 1-2. Kang obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Kang scores with a jab to the body. Kang fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Pasquale sprawls well initially but Kang persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Kang trying to control from Pasquale's half guard. Pasquale has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Kang is standing up over Pasquale. Pasquale looks to escape but Kang dives into side control.
Kang trying to control the action but Pasquale is working from the bottom. Kang laying and praying for a moment but Pasquale takes advantage and regains half guard. Kang prevents Pasquale from standing back up.
Kang is working for a submission of some sort.
Pasquale tries to kick Kang off but Kang keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kang is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Pasquale doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kang. Kang is pressing down on Pasquale's thigh, looking to free his foot. Pasquale is holding on for now. Pasquale is trying to control but can't.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Kang scores with a jab to the body. Oh, that's a big right hand from Kang and Pasquale goes tumbling to the canvas! Kang follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
Pasquale is rocked!
It looks like Leon Pasquale has been cut. Pasquale tries to get to full guard but Kang has control of the leg. Oh Pasquale is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pasquale is trying to stand.
Kang trying to control from half guard but Pasquale is working away. Pasquale seems to have got his legs back now. Pasquale moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Pasquale tries to land a sweep but no joy. Kang tries to free his leg and advance position but Pasquale is retaining full guard. Kang advances to half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Kang wants to take a breather but Pasquale is having none of it. Kang seems to be working for a kimura but Pasquale defends the submission attempt. Kang is keen to just control but Pasquale is a slippery customer.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pasquale tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Kang is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Pasquale has managed to free his arm - good work. Pasquale is trying to stand up here but Kang is controlling him well. Pasquale tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Pasquale on the wrong end of a nice jab. Kang sizes up Pasquale with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Kang throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pasquale. Kang lands with an uppercut that bounces Pasquale off the cage and back into rage. Pasquale circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kang swings for the body but Pasquale moves out of range.
Pasquale fails with the takedown and Kang counters with a stiff right hand. Pasquale is breathing heavily. Kang takes a swing at Pasquale's ribcage but misses. Kang is looking to clinch but Pasquale is avoiding it.
Kang scores with a takedown into Pasquale's guard. Kang works a leg free and moves into half guard. Kang is tying to control. Pasquale wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kang is working for a submission of some sort.
Pasquale is pressing down on Kang's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Denis Kang dominated that round. The cut man is working on Leon Pasquale's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Pasquale throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Some wild striking there from Kang.
Pasquale with a lazy takedown attempt and Kang counters with a right hand to the body. Kang connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Pasquale! He's out on his feet! Kang rushes in and drops Pasquale with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Denis Kang!
