Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mark Spencer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gus Dengel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spencer comes to the cage accompanied by Ride Of The Valkyries - Richard Wagner. Dengel comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Papillon kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Gus Dengel has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spencer fails with the takedown
and Dengel counters with a body kick that stops Spencer in his tracks momentarily.

Spencer throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Spencer cracks a nice hook into Dengel's ribs.
Spencer throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Dengel was covering up waiting for the punch and Spencer finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Spencer has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Spencer and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
