Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Magus Arbenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christopher Hero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hero has chosen No shelter - Rage against the machine as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 18 - 1, fighting out of New York, Magus Arbenson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Christopher Hero! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Lou da Vinci and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Arbenson shoots in for a double leg but Hero sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Arbenson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hero is fending him off so far but Arbenson persists. Nope, Hero circles away and we're back to standing. Arbenson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hero was covering up waiting for the punch and Arbenson finishes the takedown easily into guard. Arbenson wants to get up but he can't break Hero's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Hero not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Hero pulls Arbenson in to control the position. Hero is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Arbenson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Hero, up you get! Arbenson takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Arbenson stuffs the takedown. Hero circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Arbenson fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hero to the ground. Arbenson is now in Hero's guard. Hero pulls Arbenson in close to his closed guard and prevents Arbenson from doing any damage or advancing position. Hero wants to get back to his feet but Arbenson is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Arbenson gets to his feet. Hero looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Arbenson gets caught flat footed, as Hero shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Hero wants to control from the top but Arbenson keeps moving. Arbenson wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Hero wants to pass the guard but Arbenson is keeping the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hero trying to control the position from guard on top but Arbenson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Christopher Hero. Hero pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Arbenson has taken the fight to the clinch.
Hero takes a knee to the side of the body. Arbenson lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Hero drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Arbenson pushes Hero back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Hero tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Arbenson tries to land knees in the clinch but Hero avoids the damage to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Arbenson is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Hero to keep the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Magus Arbenson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Arbenson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hero walks away with a smile on his face. Arbenson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Arbenson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hero sprawls well initially but Arbenson persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Arbenson is pressing down on Hero's thigh, looking to free his foot. Hero is holding on for now. It looks like Arbenson is going to stand back up.
Hero tries to kick Arbenson off but Arbenson keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Arbenson postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Hero to stand up. Hero looks to land a combination but Arbenson avoids it well. Arbenson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hero as he jumps to the side.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hero keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Arbenson looks for a takedown but Hero sprawls well. Hero misses with a wild body shot. Arbenson fails with the takedown letting Hero counter with a right hand. Arbenson is breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hero throws a series of punches but Arbenson avoids them all with ease. Hero lands a right hook to the body.
Hero throws a sloppy head kick and Arbenson moves out of range easily. Arbenson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Hero is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Arbenson is keen to just control but Hero is a slippery customer. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Magus Arbenson dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Arbenson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hero as he avoids it easily. Arbenson instigates a clinch. Arbenson goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Arbenson obliges. Arbenson successfully pulls guard.
Arbenson wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Hero seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Arbenson has his hands on Hero's head, controlling the position. Hero slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Arbenson is looking to regain half guard here but Hero keeps moving and retains side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hero trying to control the position but Arbenson is working away. Arbenson sneaks back into half guard. Arbenson keeps control of the position for the meantime. Hero controlling the action here. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Hero thows a huge punch but Arbenson dodges it nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hero keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Christopher Hero was stalling too much, according to the referee. Arbenson is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Arbenson misses with a takedown and Hero counters with a stiff right hand. Hero misses with a double jab.
Arbenson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hero but Hero pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Magus Arbenson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hero misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hero slaps away a takedown attempt from Arbenson, before circling back to the center of the mat. Hero scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hero throws a combination. Arbenson tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Hero looks to land a combination but Arbenson avoids it well. Magus Arbenson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hero misses with a double jab.
Hero fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Arbenson manages to avoid it. Hero tries a head kick but it misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hero pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Arbenson gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Arbenson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hero walks away with a smile on his face. Arbenson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Arbenson tries to close the distance and clinch but Hero swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. A solid leg kick lands there for Hero.

Hero closes the distance and lands a one-two. Arbenson ducks under a wild hook from Hero. Christopher Hero seems to be getting the better of the standup. Hero looks for a takedown but Arbenson sprawls well. Arbenson clinches up against the cage. Arbenson pushes off an throws an elbow but Hero leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Arbenson tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Hero avoids it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Arbenson prevents Hero from breaking the clinch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Arbenson breaks from the clinch.
Arbenson has a takedown stuffed. A big left from Hero misses. Nice takedown defense from Hero. No joy for Arbenson on that attempt. Arbenson moves in looking to clinch but Hero pushes him off. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Arbenson tries to close the distance and clinch but Hero swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Hero fails to land with a series of punches.
Hero throws a nice outside leg kick. Arbenson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Christopher Hero showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Hero throws a right and a left that both miss. Hero stuffs the takedown attempt from Arbenson. Arbenson gets slowly back to his feet. Hero misses with a looping right. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Hero with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Arbenson shoots in for a takedown but Hero shows good takedown defense. Hero misses with a two punch combination.
Arbenson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hero sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Arbenson somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Magus Arbenson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hero throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Arbenson needs to keep his hands up - Hero had a free shot at his head there. Hero throws a shot to the body.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Hero!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Arbenson lands a high kick!
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Hero defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Arbenson. Hero lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
That's one minute gone in the round. A nice inside leg kick there by Hero. That's going to slow Arbenson down. The fight moves into the clinch position. Hero misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Arbenson.
Arbenson tries to land knees in the clinch but Hero avoids the damage to the body. Hero changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Arbenson fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Hero looks for a takedown but Arbenson sprawls well. Hero misses with a jab, cross combination.

Hero defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Arbenson. Arbenson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hero swivels and escapes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hero throws a leg kick which misses Arbenson's front leg but catches the back leg as Arbenson tries to avoid it. Arbenson with a lazy takedown attempt and Hero counters with a nice kick to the body. Arbenson dives in and grabs Hero's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hero pushes down on Arbenson's head and hops out. Arbenson has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Danga de danga de dang - Hero scores with a four punch combination! This has been an exciting period of action! Arbenson wants to clinch up but Hero keeps it at a distance. Hero tries to bum rush Arbenson with a series of wild strikes but Arbenson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Arbenson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Arbenson there as he acknowledges the shot. Arbenson with a hook. Arbenson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Hero closes the distance and clinches. Arbenson with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Hero pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Arbenson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hero as he jumps to the side. Hero lands a high kick!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hero connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Arbenson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hero's waist but Hero gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Arbenson off to one side. Arbenson avoids the head kick by Hero.
Good shot there by Hero. Magus Arbenson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Hero throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hero drives through and clinches with Arbenson against the cage.
Arbenson is trying to trip Hero. He has hold of a leg but Hero is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Arbenson persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Hero wants to stand and escape but Arbenson is having none of it. Arbenson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hero is keeping the position for now. Hero is working an open guard so Arbenson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hero jabs at Arbenson's body. Hero closes the distance and pushes Arbenson back into the cage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Arbenson successfully pulls guard.
Hero throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Arbenson works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Hero wanted to stand there but Arbenson had control of the position. Hero decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Hero waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Arbenson. Arbenson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hero as he avoids it easily. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Hero lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Arbenson circles away quickly and effectively. Arbenson instigates a clinch. Arbenson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
And that's the end of the fight! Christopher Hero comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Hero has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
