Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Don King! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nikita Olavski! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Franklyn Lucas and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King misses the shot to the body. Olavski tries to clinch up. This fight brought to you by 5M nutrition - it's mmmmm tasty. Nice jab by King. Olavski wants to clinch up but King keeps it at a distance. Olavski instigates a clinch. King misses with a punch to the body.
King throws a punch but it's blocked by Olavski. King is pressed up against the cage. Olavski has hold of a leg and is looking to drag King down to the mat. King avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Olavski doesn't manage to clinch there - King circles away.
Olavski throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around King's waist but King gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Olavski off to one side. Olavski misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Don King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nikita Olavski. King avoids a lazy jab quite easily. King misses with a wild combination.
Olavski doesn't succeed with the takedown and King counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's one minute gone in the round. Olavski closes the distance but King moves to the side and King counters with a lovely shot to the body. Olavski shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Olavski showed some decent athleticism there. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Olavski prevents King from improving his position. King wants to control but Olavski is keeping busy and won't allow it. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Olavski shoots in looking for a takedown. King tries to sprawl out of it but Olavski keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. King manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Olavski gets a clinch. Olavski tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. King smiles and moves away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. King stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and King wants it to stay on the feet. A combination from King does no damage. Olavski fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but King avoids it really well and circles away. Olavski fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. King scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Olavski doesn't seem bothered though. Olavski tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but King paws at him with a jab and circles away. King lands a slapping body shot.
Olavski fails with the takedown. King leaves Olavski with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Olavski looks winded! King fails to land with a series of punches.
Olavski shoots in looking for a takedown but King manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Olavski's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Horrible takedown by Olavski or perhaps it was just good defense by King which made him look bad. King displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Olavski.
That's four minutes gone in the round. King moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Olavski showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from King.
Nikita Olavski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Olavski is defended easily by King. King scores with a crisp jab that stopped Olavski in his tracks. Olavski tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. King manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Olavski shoots for a double leg takedown but King sprawls well. He's pushed Olavski's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. King swinging wildly here.
King looks to score with a jab to the body but Olavski is just out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Don King dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
King takes a swing at Olavski's ribcage but misses. Olavski shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has King pinned against the cage. King gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. King fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Olavski manages to avoid it. Don King is winning the standup battle so far. King stuffs the takedown. Oooooh!!! King has knocked Olavski down with a huge combo! King steps away and waves a wobbly Olavski back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Olavski fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Don King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nikita Olavski. Olavski with a poor takedown and King counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Olavski to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by King!
