Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Giuseppe Casey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Casey comes to the cage accompanied by Manowar - Warriors Of The World. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson fails to land the takedown. Johnson wants to clinch up but Casey keeps it at a distance. Johnson has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Johnson fails with a takedown attempt. Casey tries to clinch up but Johnson circles away and keeps his distance. Casey misses with an attempted mid kick.
Casey has closed the distance and engaged Johnson in a clinch.
Casey tries for a takedown but Johnson manages to get underhooks.
Casey managing to block the knees to the body from Johnson.
Casey prevents Johnson from breaking the clinch. Casey breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Casey is looking to clinch but Johnson is avoiding it.
Johnson moves out of range of the body kick from Casey.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson misses with an uppercut. Casey rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Johnson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Casey could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Johnson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Casey but Casey pushes him off and we're back to square one. Giuseppe Casey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Johnson. Casey lands a front kick. Johnson tries to keep at a distance but Casey has taken the fight into the clinch. Casey fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Johnson lands a body shot. Johnson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Johnson works on Casey's body with a couple of short punches. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Casey. Casey blocks a body shot from Johnson. Johnson trying to land knees to the body.
Johnson looks gassed! Casey is working for takedown but Johnson is calmly controlling the position for now. Johnson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Casey avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Casey breaks the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Casey with a hook. Johnson tries to clinch up and Casey counters with a takedown into side control. Casey wants to control but Johnson is keeping him busy. Casey with the ground and pound but Johnson regains half guard under the barage of strikes. This has been an exciting period of action! Johnson is staying active underneath Casey, who seems content to just control the action from this position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Casey tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Johnson. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Casey controlling the pace. Casey not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Johnson looks to throw a body kick and Casey counters with a shoot takedown. Johnson fights it but they end up in guard. Casey is looking to work some ground and pound but Johnson has wrist control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson has his feet on Casey's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Excellent takedown into side control there by Johnson. Casey tries to escape but Johnson is in control. Johnson stands up and we're back to a striking position. Johnson shoots and misses and Casey counters by moving into the clinch. Casey blocks the elbow strike.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Casey with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Johnson is working for takedown but Casey is calmly controlling the position for now. Casey manages to break the clinch.
Casey fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Giuseppe Casey dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Casey clinches up with Johnson and pushes him back against the cage. Johnson swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Casey drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Johnson gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Casey has Johnson pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Johnson manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Johnson is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Casey is keeping busy. Johnson is pressed up against the cage. Casey has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Johnson down to the mat. Johnson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Giuseppe Casey. That's going to take a lot out of him. Johnson clinches but Casey breaks the clinch and Casey counters with a single leg into guard. Johnson didn't expect that. Johnson wants to get back to his feet but Casey is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Casey would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Casey trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Casey bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Casey has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Johnson misses with a kick to the body and Casey counters with a takedown into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Casey tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Casey has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Casey creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Johnson sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Casey in side control, throwing shots but Johnson defends. Casey works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Casey cracks Johnson with a big right hand but Johnson just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Casey controls the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Casey.
Casey decides to stand back up. Johnson takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Giuseppe Casey is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Johnson is looking to clinch but Casey is avoiding it.
Johnson circles away from the clinch attempt and Johnson counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Johnson decides to return to a standing position. Casey tries to clinch up but Johnson circles away and keeps his distance. Johnson closes the distance and clinches up with Casey, looking for a takedown. Johnson pushes Casey against the cage but Casey circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Johnson fails with an attempt to clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson wants to clinch and Casey counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Johnson is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Johnson gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Johnson has had enough of the clinch but Casey keeps him there for the moment. Johnson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Johnson misses with a left hand and Casey holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Johnson throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Caseys head. Casey lands a nice shot to the body. Casey drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Johnson gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Johnson tries to break the clinch but Casey is controlling the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Johnson lands with a short shot to the head. Casey tries to pull guard but Johnson holds him up against the cage and eventually Casey drops back down to his feet.

Giuseppe Casey dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Casey goes for a takedown in the clinch but Johnson prevents it.

Casey lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Casey. Johnson tries to land a knee to the head but Casey blocks with his arms.

Johnson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Casey as he jumps to the side. Casey wants to clinch up but Johnson keeps it at a distance. Johnson has his takedown stuffed and Casey counters with a nice double leg into side control. Johnson won't be happy with that. Casey cracks Johnson with a big elbow. Johnson is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Casey is controlling him well. Johnson dodges the ground and pound from Casey.

Casey throws a strike aimed at the side of Johnson's head but Johnson avoids it well. The ground and pound from Casey seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Johnson is trying to buck Casey off.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Casey shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Johnson as he avoids it easily. Johnson rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Casey counters with a nice double leg into side control. Johnson won't be happy with that. This has been an exciting period of action! Casey misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Casey stands up and beckons Johnson to his feet. Johnson takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Casey looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Casey trying to stand up but can't free himself from Johnson's guard. Casey has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Johnson wants to stand and escape but Casey is having none of it. Casey trying to stand up but can't free himself from Johnson's guard. Johnson pushes Casey off and gets back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson with a lazy takedown attempt and Casey counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Johnson scores with a hook to the body. Casey wants a takedown but no success here.

Casey breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Casey tries a head kick but it misses.

Johnson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Casey moves away. James Johnson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Casey pulls out of a head kick attempt.
And that's the end of the fight! Giuseppe Casey showed his dominance in that final round. Well Casey has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
