Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Knightly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lord Takedown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knightly comes to the cage accompanied by go to sleep - Eminem ft. DMX and obie trice. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kevin Knightly! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lord Takedown! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Takedown throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Takedown throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Knightly tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Takedown is in Knightly's guard. Knightly trying to control the position.
Knightly working a defensive guard but Takedown passes into half guard.
Knightly tries to get to full guard but Takedown has control of the leg. Knightly slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Knightly will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Knightly wants to sweep here but Takedown controlling him for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Knightly controls Takedown momentarily but Takedown frees himself. Takedown's corner is telling him to maintain position. Knightly looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Takedown puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Knightly is trying to maintain the position but Takedown is very close to passing his half guard. Takedown passes the guard and advances to mount! Knightly tries to reverse the position but Takedown maintains control. Knightly wants to control but Takedown is having none of it. Takedown lands with some strikes. Knightly is trying to escape the mount.
Takedown avoids the attempt from Knightly to control. Knightly can't escape the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Takedown looking to finish Knightly with some ground and pound. This is bad for Knightly! Takedown really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Knightly. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Knightly is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Takedown lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Knightly is looking to improve his position but Takedown isn't that keen on the idea. Knightly gets back to half guard. Knightly wants to get back to full guard. Takedown is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Knightly is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Takedown jumps into side control!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Takedown controls the position from side control. Knightly can't do much from the bottom here. Knightly prevents Takedown from improving position. Takedown is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Knightly's shoulder. That is not cool. Knightly can't do much from the bottom here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Takedown remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Knightly is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Knightly is working hard here to advance position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Knightly moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. A nice leg kick lands there from Knightly. Knightly scores with a hook to the body. Takedown takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Takedown shoots in for a double leg but Knightly sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Lord Takedown will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Takedown throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Knightly tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Takedown is in Knightly's guard. Knightly looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Knightly is trying to keep Takedown in close.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Takedown pushes down on Knightly's leg and manages to get into half guard. Knightly is looking to improve his position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Takedown connects with a nice short shot to Knightly's temple. Well, if Takedown is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's one minute gone in the round. Knightly is looking for a sweep. Takedown is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Takedown connects with a nice short shot to Knightly's temple. Knightly looking for submissions off his back. Knightly is trying to maintain the position but Takedown is very close to passing his half guard. Takedown is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Lord Takedown was stalling too much, according to the referee. Takedown tries to clinch but Knightly moves out of range. Takedown throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Knightly counters with a body kick. Takedown tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Knightly swivels and escapes. Takedown looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Takedown closes this distance looking for a takedown but Knightly circles away. Kevin Knightly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lord Takedown. Knightly lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Takedown shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Knightly is trying to defend but Takedown finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Knightly works his way to full guard. Good work. Takedown chips away with some ground and pound. Knightly bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Takedown's guard. Knightly trying to stand up but can't free himself from Takedown's guard. Knightly stands and throws Takedown's legs to the side, diving into side control. Takedown tries to improve position but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Takedown is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Knightly has just dragged him back down to the mat. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Takedown is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Takedown controls the position for a moment. Knightly is looking to take a break and control but Takedown is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Knightly wants to stand but Takedown has his arm trapped. Takedown is trying to control Knightly's posture but Knightly avoids it. Takedown is not content to let Knightly control the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Knightly thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Takedown wants to control but Knightly postures up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lord Takedown showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! And we move into the final round!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Takedown. Takedown throws a poor cross that misses
and Knightly counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Takedown misses with a hook. Takedown shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Knightly pinned against the cage. Knightly gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Takedown changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Knightly tries to avoid it but Takedown manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Knightly to the ground. Knightly escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Kevin Knightly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lord Takedown. Nice takedown defense from Knightly. No joy for Takedown on that attempt. Knightly scores with a sloppy right hand. Takedown should have avoided that one. Knightly lands with a nice body punch. Takedown looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Knightly is fending him off so far but Takedown persists. Nope, Knightly circles away and we're back to standing. Knightly scores with a three punch combo!
Takedown takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Takedown takes a body punch but keeps moving. Knightly stuffs the takedown attempt from Takedown. Takedown gets slowly back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Takedown tries to score a power double leg takedown but Knightly sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Takedown somewhat. Knightly keeps Takedown at a distance using the push kick. Takedown gets a takedown into half guard. Takedown prevents Knightly from improving his position. Takedown controlling the action here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Knightly is looking to control Takedown's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Knightly avoid being mounted? Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Takedown in particular looking to stall. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Knightly tries to get to full guard but Takedown has control of the leg. Takedown stalling.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Lord Takedown was stalling too much, according to the referee. Takedown scores with a takedown into Knightly's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Takedown postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Takedown looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Knightly is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Takedown defends well. Takedown sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Knightly tries to land a sweep but no joy. Takedown seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Lord Takedown hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Knightly stuffs the takedown. Knightly defending well as Takedown loads up on a big left hand. Knightly scores with a push kick. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Knightly scores with a kick to the midsection. Knightly punishes Takedown's body with a nice straight punch. Kevin Knightly has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Lord Takedown is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Takedown gets a double leg takedown into Knightly's guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Lord Takedown comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Takedown winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
