The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Felipe Paraventi and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Down has his takedown stuffed
and Magnus counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Down avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Magnus lands a nice shot that snaps Down's head back.
Magnus looks to score with a jab to the body but Down is just out of range.
Down will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Magnus scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Magnus throws a low kick, looking for Down's leg but Down calmly moves out of range.
Magnus jabs Down to the body, keeping him at a distance.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Down throws a nice looking combination but Magnus bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Down gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Magnus counters with a nice body kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for ur Down. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Down moves out of range as Magnus strikes.
Magnus throws a jab when Down was well out of range.
Magnus scores with a jab to the body.
Down shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Magnus counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Down thinking.

Magnus tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

and Magnus counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Magnus throws a shot to the body.

Down is rocked!
Down walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Magnus swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
