Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Fahad Joudeh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joudeh comes into the arena with Vinnie Paz - Razor Gloves blaring out of the sound system. Jose Aldo has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Fahad Joudeh's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fahad Joudeh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Alexandre Firmino and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldo attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
The fighters circle momentarily. Aldo darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Aldo throws a half hearted mid kick.
Aldo connects with a good right hand that stumbles Joudeh. Joudeh circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Aldo tries to clinch there but Joudeh circles away.
Joudeh avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Aldo is looking to land body kicks.
Joudeh shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Joudeh seems to be looking for submissions.
Aldo is trying to control but can't.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Joudeh lands a nice short elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Joudeh trying to mount his opponent but Aldo defends it.
Joudeh seems to be working for a kimura but Aldo defends the submission attempt.
Joudeh content to control rather than advance.
Joudeh thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Aldo's head.
Aldo is trying to control but can't.
Joudeh looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Aldo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Joudeh is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Aldo is just riding it out for now. Joudeh eventually gives up the hold.

Aldo wants to improve his position but Joudeh is controlling well.
Joudeh with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Aldo wants to get back to full guard.
Aldo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Joudeh. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Joudeh trying to control the pace.

Joudeh wants to work for an arm triangle but Aldo is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Joudeh takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Fahad Joudeh wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Aldo closes the distance and clinches.
Aldo is trying to break the clinch but Joudeh has him pressed against the cage.
Joudeh is trying to pull guard but Aldo turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Aldo jumps guard but Joudeh stands there with Aldo around his waist. Aldo gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Aldo wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Joudeh is looking for a takedown.
Aldo presses Joudeh against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Joudeh is trying to break the clinch but Aldo is controlling him.
Joudeh tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fahad Joudeh. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Joudeh has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Aldo clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Joudeh working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Aldo is doing well to defend. Joudeh seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Aldo is forced to tap and this one is over!
