Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hinch avoids the head kick by Starks.
Hinch misses with a takedown attempt - Starks sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Starks throws a hook to the side of Hinch's head but Hinch sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Hinch closes the distance and clinches up with Starks, looking for a takedown. Hinch pushes Starks against the cage but Starks circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Hinch shoots in for a double leg but Starks sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

and Hinch takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Hinch wants to clinch up but Starks keeps it at a distance.
Starks throws a hook but Hinch avoids it easily.
Hinch feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Hinch tries to score a power double leg takedown but Starks sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hinch somewhat.
Hinch with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Starks to score with a decent uppercut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Starks is in close to Hinch's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Hinch is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Starks scores with a couple of nice shots.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Starks working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Hinch is rocked!
Starks lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Hinch quite badly. Hinch pulls Starks in close trying to recover. Starks postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Hinch on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Hinch doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tony Starks!
Tony Starks got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
