The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bourne decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barett is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.
Barett in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Bourne in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Barett knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bourne on the ground.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
