Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Magakian. Those never looked like landing.
Ferreira is looking to clinch but Magakian is avoiding it.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ferreira bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Magakian's guard.
Ferreira wants to stand but Magakian has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Ferreira won't allow Magakian to get back to his feet.

Ferreira is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Magakian is trying to stand back up but Ferreira is controlling him
Magakian tries to get to full guard but Ferreira has control of the leg.
Ferreira is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Magakian!

Ferreira gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Magakian takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Ferreira lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Magakian is rocked!
Magakian uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ferreira.
Magakian is still on wobbly legs! Can Ferreira finish him?
No luck for Magakian with that takedown attempt.
Ferreira drops Magakian with a naaaaasty hook - Magakian is in real trouble here! Ferreira dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Virgulino Ferreira!
After the fight, Virgulino Ferreira was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
