Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Kupper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ned Gein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gein has chosen 'Mama Said Knock You Out' by LL Cool J as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ben Kupper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ned Gein! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Daniel Cesar and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gein throws a leg kick but Kupper checks it. Gein bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Gein wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kupper keeps working. Kupper wants to control but Gein postures up. Kupper is trying to improve his position. Gein trying to control the position but Kupper is working away. Kupper manages to get back to half guard. Gein prevents Kupper from improving his position. Kupper wants to control but Gein is keeping busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gein not landing any meaningful shots this time. Kupper tries to get to full guard but Gein has control of the leg. Gein is trying to control the action in half guard but Kupper is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Kupper is trying to get back to full guard. Gein throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Kupper blocking the ground and pound attempt from Gein. Gein wants to take a breather but Kupper is having none of it. Kupper has one foot on Gein's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Kupper shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Kupper gets a clinch. Kupper's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Gein has his takedown stuffed and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gein slaps away a takedown attempt from Kupper, before circling back to the center of the mat. Kupper shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gein but Gein pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ben Kupper. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gein scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Gein tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gein has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Gein trying to control the position but Kupper is working away. Gein advances nicely into full mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kupper is looking to get to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gein misses with a head shot. Gein wants to take Kupper's back here but Kupper is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

Gein is looking to stand but Gein has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Gein looking to control but Kupper is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Gein controlling the position easily from mount. Gein jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Kupper is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Kupper and Gein has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kupper is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Kupper is working hard here to advance position. Gein working away. Gein works to advance to full mount. Kupper defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Kupper has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gein is controlling the position but Kupper somehow manages to roll and ends up with half guard.
Gein prevents Kupper from improving his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ned Gein dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Gein slaps away a takedown attempt from Kupper, before circling back to the center of the mat. Kupper tries to clinch up but Gein circles away and keeps his distance. Kupper throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gein's waist but Gein gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kupper off to one side. Kupper misses with an uppercut. Ben Kupper is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kupper rushes Gein and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Kupper wants a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ben Kupper. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gein's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Kupper tries for a takedown but Gein sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Kupper shoots in for a takedown but Gein shows good takedown defense. Gein wants to slow Kupper down by chopping away at his legs. Gein dives in and scores a takedown into Kupper's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gein's corner is telling him to maintain position. Gein stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kupper swivels though and keeps the full guard. Gein pushing down on Kupper's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Gein wants to pass the guard but Kupper is defending well. Gein is just content to waste time from the top position. Kupper takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Ned Gein has got the better of the ground game so far. Gein pushes down on Kupper's leg and manages to get into half guard. Kupper is looking to escape. Gein wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kupper keeps working. Gein passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Kupper!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gein trying to control but Kupper is having none of it. Kupper tries to hold on but Gein postures up. Gein takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Kupper tries to hold on but Gein postures up. Kupper is squirming around, avoiding Gein's attempts to control the action. This has been an exciting period of action! Kupper is looking to get to half guard. Gein forces the positional change into back control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kupper wants to escape the position.
Kupper is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Gein is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Kupper has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Gein struggling to keep hold of the position.
Gein has got his arm under Kupper's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! Kupper has spun round into Gein's guard beautifully! Well done that man!
Gein keeping moving, preventing Kupper from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gein is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Kupper with a flurry of punches that miss. Kupper won't allow Gein to sweep him here. This has been an exciting period of action! Gein looking for a triangle here. Kupper is fighting it but it looks tight! Gein pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Kupper is tapping out - this one is all over!
