Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between AkoSii MangJose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jax Kutts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kutts comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Save Me from Shinedown kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! AkoSii MangJose had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 187.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kutts looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jax Kutts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kutts shoots in for a double leg but MangJose sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
MangJose looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Kutts wants to control the action here but instead MangJose manages to pass to full mount!
MangJose tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Kutts is trying desperately to improve position.

Kutts tries to hold on but MangJose pushes him away.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kutts wants to clinch but MangJose slips to the side
and MangJose counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Kutts throws an elbow but it misses.
MangJose has had enough of the clinch but Kutts keeps him there for the moment.
Kutts lands a nice elbow.

Kutts has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. MangJose avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Kutts pushes off an throws an elbow but MangJose leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

MangJose working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kutts doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kutts manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Kutts manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. MangJose manages to get himself to full guard.

Kutts working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of MangJose's head.
Kutts looking to improve position, pressing down on MangJose's thigh with his hand. MangJose seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Kutts paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Kutts's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! MangJose picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
