Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between pat sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). sanchez comes to the cage accompanied by ARS MORIENDI. Robert Power has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with pat sanchez's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, pat sanchez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Robert Power! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Sergei Dronov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! sanchez throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Power misses with a combination
and sanchez counters with a lovely straight right hand! sanchez goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. sanchez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. sanchez tries to stand but Power is controlling from the bottom. sanchez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. sanchez wants to stand and escape but instead Power has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. sanchez working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Power. sanchez wants to stand but Power is controlling the position. Power stands up and waves to sanchez to follow him. sanchez swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Power counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for sanchez! Power is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, sanchez has managed to escape the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Power won't let sanchez get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Power swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and sanchez is now in Power's guard. A big mistake from Power there, giving up the dominant position! sanchez gets to his feet. Power looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! sanchez throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Power on the side of the head. sanchez throws a quick inside leg kick. Power closes this distance looking for a takedown but sanchez circles away. Power falls off balance throwing a combination
and sanchez counters with a three punch combo that has Power backing up. Power nods at sanchez to acknowledge the strikes. Power fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. sanchez throws a series of punches but Power avoids them all with ease.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Power throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and sanchez counters with a stiff right hand. sanchez tries to clinch but Power moves out of range. sanchez tests Power's chin there with a solid looking shot. The fight moves into the clinch position. sanchez is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Power is trying to maintain a safe position but sanchez gets an underhook and turns Power into the cage. Power tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. sanchez blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
sanchez breaks the clinch.
Power decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Power has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Power looks gassed! sanchez wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
sanchez knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Power on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Power has control of sanchez's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and sanchez regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Power working for a submission but sanchez is keeping him at bay. Power is working for a guillotine from mount but sanchez frees his head quite easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Power looking to ground and pound but sanchez is blocking nicely. Power is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. sanchez is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. sanchez flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Power anticipates the leg and manages to get behind sanchez and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Power slips an arm under sanchez chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Power has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Power is squeezing on sanchez like an anaconda would it's prey. sanchez fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Robert Power!
