Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Abe Lincon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John McClane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McClane has chosen Refuse/Resist as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Abe Lincon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John McClane!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Wagner Zegers and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McClane tries a low kick but Lincon avoids it.

Lincon closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Lincon cracks McClane with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Lincon wants to lay and pray for a moment but McClane keeps working.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if McClane can do anything to dispel that myth.
Lincon throws an elbow but McClane slips to the side and avoids it well.
Lincon scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at McClane to see if he's OK.
The ground and pound from Lincon seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McClane is trying to improve his position.
The strikes coming from Lincon are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Lincon creates some space and throws a big elbow, but McClane sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lincon is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

McClane tries to get to full guard but Lincon has control of the leg.
Lincon looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Lincon prevents McClane from improving his position.

Well, if Lincon is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Lincon's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lincon connects with a nice short shot to McClane's temple.

McClane is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Lincon lands a nice short elbow.
Lincon seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Lincon's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

McClane has momentary wrist control but Lincon slips an elbow through the middle.
Lincon makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Lincon content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McClane avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lincon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McClane utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Abe Lincon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Lincon throws a strike but McClane rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Lincon has a closed guard, preventing McClane from standing up.

McClane is fighting to break Lincon's control of his arms but Lincon is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

BOOM! Lincon connects with a massive shot to the dome!
McClane really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lincon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at John McClane's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Abe Lincon!
Abe Lincon seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
