The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDonald takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Ruch throws a shot to the body.
Ruch scores with a punch to the head.
Ruch gets caught flat footed, as McDonald shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
McDonald trying to control the position from guard on top but Ruch is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
McDonald is pushing down on Ruch's leg trying to pass to half guard. Ruch is fighting to maintain full guard but McDonald has managed to sneak the leg through.
McDonald is trying to control the action in half guard but Ruch is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Well, if McDonald is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
