Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timmy O Sullivan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). O Sullivan has chosen DropKick Murphys - Loyal to no one as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Timmy O Sullivan was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Steve Erwin and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Sullivan just misses with a punch to the body.
O Sullivan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Smith was well out of range. Poor timing from O Sullivan.

O Sullivan stuffs the takedown attempt from Smith. Smith gets slowly back to his feet.

O Sullivan's corner calls for a 1-2. O Sullivan obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Smith throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. O Sullivan was covering up waiting for the punch and Smith finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Smith sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed O Sullivan's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
O Sullivan has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Smith is working away from the top position though.

Smith looks to land a strike but O Sullivan avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
O Sullivan wants to sweep here but Smith controlling him for the moment.

That was a close round but I would say that Mike Smith will probably get the nod.
