Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lane Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kirby Molesworth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frost comes to the cage accompanied by 8 second ride (Jake Owen). Molesworth has chosen Here comes the Boom-Nelly as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kirby Molesworth! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Molesworth scores with a shot to the body.
Kirby Molesworth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Molesworth swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A left and a right from Frost both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Kirby Molesworth has been cut. Molesworth misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

and Frost counters with a left and a right that hurts Molesworth! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Frost jumps into full mount! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Frost is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Molesworth to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Molesworth shrugs it off. Frost is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Molesworth has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Frost goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Molesworth turns into him and now he's in Frost's guard.
Frost working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Molesworth. Molesworth wants to control from the top but Frost keeps moving. Molesworth avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Molesworth must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Frost working for a triangle but Molesworth defends it easily.
Molesworth distracts Frost with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Molesworth got a little sloppy there for a moment and Frost has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Molesworth has managed to get both his arms back between Frost's legs - danger averted. Frost looking for a guillotine here but Molesworth defends easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Molesworth is looking to work some ground and pound but Frost has wrist control. Frost isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Molesworth stacks Frost on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Molesworth! Molesworth lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Molesworth lands an elbow. Molesworth working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Molesworth looks up at the clock and then as Frost takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Molesworth smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Frost might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Molesworth landing a few strikes. Frost manages to get back to half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Molesworth lands a nice short elbow. Molesworth seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Molesworth lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Molesworth working the head and body with strikes. Molesworth lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Frost on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Frost tries to get out of the position. Frost tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Ground and pound from Molesworth. Molesworth lands strikes from half guard. Frost is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Molesworth pulls his head out easily. Frost is breathing heavily. Frost has hold of Molesworth's hands but Molesworth slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Molesworth looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Frost is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Molesworth scores with a big shot! Frost's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Frost! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kirby Molesworth! Kirby Molesworth decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
