Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Julio Salcedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brusso Do (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Salcedo comes into the arena with Muse - Muscle Museum blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Julio Salcedo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Brusso Do! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Salcedo throws a big shot that misses. Julio Salcedo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Salcedo keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Salcedo fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Do throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Salcedo paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Do moves into range and clinches up with Salcedo. Salcedo has a couple of punches blocked by Do.
Do pushes Salcedo back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Julio Salcedo has been cut. Salcedo lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Do tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Salcedo avoids it. Do using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Salcedo has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Do creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Salcedo's defenses. Salcedo wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Do has him pressed against the cage. Do throws a knee to the head but misses.

Do unloads a knee to the mid-section. Salcedo lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Do throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Salcedo blocks it with crossed arms. Do with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Salcedo stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salcedo lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Do backwards. Do is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Salcedo is defending well for now. Salcedo misses with a punch on the inside.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Do obliges. Do misses with a knee to the head. A nice left hand lands by Salcedo.
Do's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Do looks to throw an elbow but misses. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Salcedo. Do looks winded! Salcedo drops Do onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Do is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Do is rocked! Salcedo throws a head punch that misses. Do is still on wobbly legs! Can Salcedo finish him? Do blocks an uppercut.
Do tries a knee to the head but Salcedo blocks it.

Salcedo tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. A head punch blocked on the inside by Do. Salcedo on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Salcedo has hold of one of Do's legs. Do is fighting the takedown attempt but Salcedo gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Salcedo loads up on a big left hand. Do felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Salcedo looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Do can't hide his disappointment, as Salcedo celebrates the victory.
