Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Suliman Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiraphon Jr Phuttharaksa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Phuttharaksa has chosen TP outro as his entrance music. Thiraphon Jr Phuttharaksa has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Suliman Kane's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Suliman Kane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Thiraphon Jr Phuttharaksa!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kane drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Phuttharaksa explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Phuttharaksa stuns Kane with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Kane closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Kane seems to be working for a kimura but Phuttharaksa defends the submission attempt.
Phuttharaksa is trying to stand back up but Kane is controlling him
Kane is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Phuttharaksa looks like he's trying to stand up.

Phuttharaksa kicks Kane off and gets back to his feet.

Phuttharaksa throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Kane tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Phuttharaksa is in Kane's guard.

Phuttharaksa is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Phuttharaksa drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kane manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Phuttharaksa has Kane in his guard.
Kane tries to free his leg and advance position but Phuttharaksa is retaining full guard.

Kane drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Phuttharaksa manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Kane has Phuttharaksa in his guard.

Phuttharaksa drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kane looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kane looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kane!

Kane decides to stand up, so the ref orders Phuttharaksa to his feet.

Phuttharaksa scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kane is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Phuttharaksa's half guard.

Kane seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Phuttharaksa does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Kane bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Phuttharaksa's guard.

Phuttharaksa is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Kane still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Kane has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Kane really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Kane escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Phuttharaksa gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Phuttharaksa drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Phuttharaksa jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Kane is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Phuttharaksa is aware though and is defending well.

I would just about give that final round to Thiraphon Jr Phuttharaksa.
Well Phuttharaksa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
