Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kaiohun Rayo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Harry Davies! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Glass and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davies gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily letting Rayo counter with a right hand. Harry Davies seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Davies staying out of range there. Davies moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Davies fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Davies fails with the takedown and Rayo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Kaiohun Rayo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Harry Davies. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Davies doesn't succeed with the takedown and Rayo counters with a straight that turns Davies's legs to rubber! Rayo pushes forward with more strikes and Davies goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!
