Christian kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Kid Rock - American Bad Ass. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christian will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Christian fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Christian wants to clinch.
Xav tries to clinch but Christian moves away

and Christian decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Xav's guard.
Xav is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Xav is looking to sweep but instead, Christian has passed into half guard.
Xav wants to improve his position but Christian is controlling well.

Xav won't allow Christian to pass to mount.

Christian is trying to control the action in half guard but Xav is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Christian is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Christian is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Xav is forced to tap! Great finish!
