Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chad Warner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gregory Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams avoids the head kick by Warner.
Warner throws a shot from downtown. Williams moves away and avoids it. Williams looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Williams looks for the body kick but Warner saw that one coming. Warner tries to clinch up but Williams circles away and keeps his distance. Williams tries to clinch up. Warner fails in his attempt to clinch. Warner has closed the distance and engaged Williams in a clinch.
Williams is trying to break the clinch but Warner has him pressed against the cage. Williams avoiding damage as Warner throws knees to the body.

Warner throws the left hand but Williams avoids the punch easily. Warner pushes Williams up against the cage in a clinch. Williams looking for a takedown. Warner breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Warner throws an overhand right that lands on Williams's shoulder, as Williams tries to avoid the shot. Warner is looking to clinch but Williams is avoiding it.

Warner tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Williams counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Warner shoots and misses and Williams counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Warner's guard now. Williams is stalling in the full guard. Williams won't allow Warner to sweep him here. Warner throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Williams won't allow Warner to sweep him here. Warner is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Williams is controlling him. Warner throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Warner fails with an attempt to clinch.
Warner tries to clinch up so Williams counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Williams looking to sit in guard and control but Warner gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. This has been an exciting period of action! Warner is looking to advance position but Williams has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Williams can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Warner is looking to escape. Warner is bucking up trying to escape but Williams cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Warner might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Warner is working to get back to half guard.

Gregory Williams dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Williams slips a straight right by Warner. Warner throws a jab when Williams was well out of range. Warner lands a front kick. Warner with a poor takedown and Williams counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Warner lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Williams! Williams manages to control the position for a moment. Warner looking to finish Williams with some ground and pound. This is bad for Williams! Williams wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Warner.

That's one minute gone in the round. Williams has had enough of the clinch but Warner keeps him there for the moment. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Williams wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Williams managing to block the knees to the body from Warner.

Williams ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Williams no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Williams is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Williams can't keep his opponent in guard - Warner advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Williams desperately trying to maintain half guard. Warner is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Williams doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Warner.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Williams gets full guard. Warner missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Warner with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Williams keeping full guard, as Warner tries to pass. Warner pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Williams displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Warner throws out the jab. Warner waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Williams. Williams tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Warner paws at him with a jab and circles away. Williams gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Warner won't allow Williams to sweep him here. Warner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Williams swivels though and keeps the full guard. Williams managing to control the position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Williams is on top in guard.

Warner is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Williams is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Warner looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Williams puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Warner tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Warner has one foot on Williams's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Warner takes the fight into the clinch. Williams can't break the clinch.
