Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mitchell Hobson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simeon Grundy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grundy has chosen Enter Sandman as his entrance music. Simeon Grundy is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grundy stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Hobson gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Grundy to score an easy takedown into full guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Grundy loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hobson is on top in guard.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hobson crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Grundy - the referee stops the clock and Hobson gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Grundy. Hobson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Grundy drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hobson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hobson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hobson!
