Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John L Sullivan IV (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Valentine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sullivan IV comes into the arena with Seven Deadly Sins blaring out of the sound system. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sullivan IV thows a body shot but no joy. Valentine misses the shot to the body. Sullivan IV throws a chopping leg kick but Valentine manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Valentine finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Sullivan IV pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Valentine misses with a looping left. Valentine throws a leg kick but Sullivan IV checks it. Valentine throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sullivan IV wants it to stay on the feet. Valentine on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Sullivan IV swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Sullivan IV darts in trying to clinch and Valentine counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Valentine throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Valentine tries to pass the half guard into mount. Sullivan IV knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Sullivan IV gets full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alexander Valentine dominated that round. The cut man is working on John L Sullivan IV's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

That's one minute gone in the round. Sullivan IV on the wrong end of a nice hook. Sullivan IV lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Valentine circles away quickly and effectively. John L Sullivan IV is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A cross from Valentine lands. Valentine digs a good body shot into Sullivan IV's ribs. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Valentine is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sullivan IV. Sullivan IV tries to clinch up but Valentine circles away and keeps his distance. A shot to the liver by Valentine. Beautiful body shot. Valentine takes a kick to the side of the head. Valentine doesn't seem bothered though. Sullivan IV chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Valentine can pounce on him.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to John L Sullivan IV. I think Valentine has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
