Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcello Romero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Ferguson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcello Romero! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin Ferguson! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ferguson moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Marcello Romero has been cut. Romero closes the distance and clinches up with Ferguson, looking for a takedown. Romero pushes Ferguson against the cage but Ferguson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Romero looks for a takedown but Ferguson sprawls well. Ferguson stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marcello Romero. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ferguson drops Romero with a right and a left! Ferguson comes rushing in but Romero regains his composure and manages to keep Ferguson in guard.
Romero is rocked! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ferguson preventing the sweep. Romero is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Romero keeping moving, preventing Ferguson from controlling successfully. Romero looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Ferguson has picked Romero up and slammed him! Romero can't keep hold of the triangle and Ferguson manages to pass to side control! Ferguson decides to stand up, so the ref orders Romero to his feet. Ferguson throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Romero is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ferguson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Romero's head backwards. Ferguson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Ferguson clinches up against the cage. Ferguson is trying to break free. Romero drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Ferguson gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Romero has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Ferguson clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Ferguson wants to escape the position.
Romero is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Ferguson has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Romero keeps control of the position easily here as Ferguson tries to buck him off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ferguson is in bad spot here.
Romero has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Ferguson! Can he survive? No! He's out! Romero gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
