Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Krateros Kratisto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Krateros Kratisto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jack Jones! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kratisto leaves Jones with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Jones closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jones lands in his opponent's guard. Jones throwing strikes from guard but Kratisto blocks nicely. Jones wants to control from the top but Kratisto keeps moving. Kratisto knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground. Jones is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Kratisto wants to get back to his feet but Jones passes into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kratisto is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Jones can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kratisto is looking to escape. Jones thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

and Kratisto counters with a stiff right hand. Jones misses with a straight left. Kratisto keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Kratisto defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jones. Krateros Kratisto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Jones. Jones fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Jones clinches.

Kratisto is trying to break the clinch but Jones is controlling him. Jones keeps control of Kratisto as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Kratisto working hard to break the clinch. Kratisto wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

No, Kratisto has managed to get both his arms back between Jones's legs - danger averted.

Krateros Kratisto has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jones tries to land a sweep but no joy. Kratisto in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Jones looking to control.
