Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucifrous Satanous (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Quimby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Satanous kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Put You To Bed. Jeff Quimby will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quimby fakes the leg kick and cracks Satanous in the body.
Quimby walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Satanous checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Quimby tries to clinch there but Satanous circles away.
Quimby tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Satanous paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Satanous throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Quimby's waist but Quimby gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Satanous off to one side.
Quimby is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Quimby misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Quimby tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Satanous counters with a shoot takedown. Quimby fights it but they end up in guard.
Satanous forces his way into half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Quimby can do anything to dispel that myth.
Satanous seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Quimby is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Lucifrous Satanous!
Lucifrous Satanous is the new heavyweight champion!
Lucifrous Satanous decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
