Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Gotti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cain Adam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cain Adam will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Gotti! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cain Adam! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adam keeps the fight on the outside. Adam looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Gotti feints and as Adam raises his hands in defense, Gotti changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Gotti's corner is telling him to maintain position. Gotti stands up and waves to Adam to follow him. Gotti is trying hard to land a takedown here. Adam sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Gotti avoids a punch combination nicely.
Adam leaves Gotti with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Adam looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Gotti shoots in and gets a takedown into Adam's guard. Gotti stands and throws Adam's legs to the side, diving into side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gotti controls the position from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gotti throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Gotti scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Adam to see if he's OK. Adam gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Adam is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Gotti looking for a guillotine from mount but Adam is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gotti controlling from the full mount. The referee warns Adam that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Adam is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Gotti lands a big shot there that rocks Adam but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gotti can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Adam is looking to escape. Gotti controlling the pace for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gotti's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Gotti has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Gotti misses with a head shot. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gotti controlling the position easily from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Gotti looking to ground and pound but Adam is blocking nicely. Gotti looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Adam defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Gotti. Gotti sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Gotti dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Gotti shoots in looking for a takedown. Adam tries to sprawl out of it but Gotti keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Adam manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Gotti looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Adam lands with an uppercut that bounces Gotti off the cage and back into range. Gotti slips under a jab from Adam. Gotti moves into the clinch successfully.
Gotti has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Adam regains guard immediately. Gotti seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Adam is breathing heavily. Adam looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Gotti puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gotti passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Adam! Gotti looking to control and managing it successfully. Adam really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gotti. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Gotti moves to the back. Gotti controls the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gotti patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Adam defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Gotti's arms. Gotti looking for the choke from the back. Adam is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Gotti.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gotti is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Adam can do to turn this around? Gotti is landing with strikes from the back. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Gotti throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Adam!
John Gotti overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gotti is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Adam is defending well though. Gotti let's go of the attempt for now. Adam defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Adam is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Gotti.

Gotti tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Adam swivels and escapes. Gotti is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Adam stuffs the takedown attempt from Gotti. Gotti gets slowly back to his feet. Adam gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Gotti to score an easy takedown into full guard. Adam wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Gotti is now in half guard. Adam takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Gotti sitting and controlling from the half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gotti working over Adam with some ground and pound. Adam looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Gotti wants to take a breather but Adam is having none of it. Gotti thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Gotti content to control rather than advance.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of John Gotti. Gotti looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Adam is fending him off so far but Gotti persists. Nope, Adam circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Gotti. That's going to take a lot out of him. Adam stuffs the takedown. Gotti misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Gotti fails with the takedown. Adam looks to throw the jab but Gotti is out of range. Gotti shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Gotti was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Adam is looking to get back to his feet here but Gotti is keeping cool and he's managed to take Adam's back. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Good control from Gotti.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cain Adam has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Adam defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Gotti is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Adam has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gotti biding his time, looking for the opening.
Gotti is looking for the choke from the back position but Adam is controlling his hands well. Gotti has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Adam's body.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Gotti looking to break Adam's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Adam remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Gotti will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
And that's the end of the fight! John Gotti showed his dominance in that final round. Well Gotti has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
