Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Veli Schwarzeneg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Veli Schwarzeneg has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 34 - 2, fighting out of St Petersburg, Veli Schwarzeneg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 16 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Arthur Green!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Schwarzeneg decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Green is looking to improve his position.
Green trying to hold on to Schwarzeneg's head to control him but Schwarzeneg postures up.
Schwarzeneg is looking to advance position but Green won't allow it.
Green wants to control but Schwarzeneg is keeping busy.

Green looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Green has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Schwarzeneg is working away from the top position though.
Green wants to get back to full guard.
Green controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
Schwarzeneg is pressing down on Green's thigh, looking to free his foot. Green is holding on for now.
Green makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Green.

Green is looking for a triangle but Schwarzeneg pushes his legs off easily.

Green has his foot on Schwarzeneg's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Schwarzeneg works his way back into a safe position though.
Schwarzeneg stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Green swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Schwarzeneg wanted to stand there but Green had control of the position.

Schwarzeneg wants to control from the top but Green keeps moving.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Schwarzeneg got a little sloppy there for a moment and Green has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Schwarzeneg has managed to get both his arms back between Green's legs - danger averted.

Green had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Schwarzeneg defends it easily.
Green utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Schwarzeneg has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Green is proving hard to escape from.

Green is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Schwarzeneg is aware though and is defending well.

Green is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Schwarzeneg defends well.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Green has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Schwarzeneg is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Green.
Green can't do much from the bottom here.

Schwarzeneg stands up.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Schwarzeneg moves into the clinch.

Schwarzeneg successfully pulls guard.
Green scoring with some ground and pound.
Green wants to stand but Schwarzeneg has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Schwarzeneg keeping moving, preventing Green from controlling successfully.
Green throws a big right hand that misses.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Schwarzeneg throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Green looking to sit in guard and control but Schwarzeneg gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Schwarzeneg trying to stand up but can't free himself from Green's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Schwarzeneg swings for the body but Green moves out of range.

Schwarzeneg looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Green has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Schwarzeneg is working away from the top position though.
Green is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Schwarzeneg is staying active.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Arthur Green wasn't active enough on the ground.

Green throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Schwarzeneg tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Green is in Schwarzeneg's guard.
Schwarzeneg is looking to stand up but Green isn't so interested in that idea.

Green distracts Schwarzeneg with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Green throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Schwarzeneg works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Green trying to control the position from guard on top but Schwarzeneg is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Schwarzeneg can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Green controls the pace.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Schwarzeneg is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Green is controlling him.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Green rushes Schwarzeneg and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.

Schwarzeneg has Green pressed up against the ropes. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Schwarzeneg pulls back from the ropes and twists to the side, sending Green tumbling to the mat - Schwarzeneg dives into Green's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Schwarzeneg is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Green has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Schwarzeneg is looking to defend but Green has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Schwarzeneg! Green pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Schwarzeneg taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Arthur Green!
A very excited looking Arthur Green made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
