Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 1, fighting out of London, Zen Blood!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Terry Ryst!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Daniel Bishop and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blood fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Ryst to the ground. Blood is now in Ryst's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Blood stopping the sweep attempt from Ryst.
Blood throwing strikes from guard but Ryst blocks nicely.
Ryst looking to hit a scissor sweep but Blood is one step ahead there.
Blood sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ryst's guard.
Ryst tries to roll over but Blood keeps him under control.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Blood thows a huge punch but Ryst dodges it nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ryst tries to get to full guard but Blood has control of the leg.
Ryst is pressing down on Blood's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Ryst utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Ryst bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Blood's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Ryst is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Blood is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Blood has escaped and now he's on top!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Blood throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ryst works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ryst tries to land a sweep but no joy.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Blood accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Blood is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Blood passes into half guard.
Ryst avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Blood.
Blood throwing shots but Ryst is blocking nicely.

The fighters are battling for position here. Ryst manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Blood thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Blood passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Blood is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ryst knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ryst manages to get back to half guard.
Ryst is looking to improve his position.

Ryst has hold of Blood's hands but Blood slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Blood missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

Blood is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Blood looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Ryst tries to roll over but Blood keeps him under control.

Blood is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ryst is just riding it out for now. Blood eventually gives up the hold.

Blood maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Ryst could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Blood has cracked it and Ryst is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Blood!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Zen Blood!
Zen Blood opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
