Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 17 - 1, fighting out of London, Stephan Anton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Marek Koltun! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Atkins and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koltun uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Anton. Anton displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Koltun throws out the jab. Anton gets caught flat footed, as Koltun shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Koltun throws a big right hand that misses. Koltun slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Koltun working the ground and pound. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Koltun is looking to take a break and control but Anton is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Koltun working the ground and pound. Anton is trying to control Koltun's posture but Koltun avoids it. Anton tries to buck Koltun off but Koltun is having none of it. Koltun in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. This has been an exciting period of action! Koltun tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Koltun is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Anton is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Koltun wants to control but Anton is keeping him busy. Koltun lands a few punches from side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Anton is working to avoid the ground and pound but Koltun connects with a decent elbow. Koltun working away. Anton sneaks back into half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Koltun lands a nice short elbow. Koltun tries to pass the half guard into mount. Anton knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Koltun is trying to control. Anton wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anton has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Koltun is working away from the top position though. Koltun trying to control from half guard but Anton is working away. Anton trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Koltun manages to pass to mount!
Anton is in a horrible position here. Koltun smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
It looks like Stephan Anton has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Koltun working away from the top, dropping strikes. Koltun lands a big elbow. Anton is in all sorts of trouble here.
Anton wants to hold on but Koltun pushes him away. Koltun lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Anton working to try and regain half guard.

Anton gets back to half guard. Koltun takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Koltun wants to pass the guard but Anton is defending well. Koltun looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Koltun passes the guard and advances to mount! Anton in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Koltun wants to control the pace but Anton is squirming around nicely. Koltun raining down shots from the mount!
Anton is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Anton can't escape the position.
Oh Anton is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Anton is working hard here to advance position. Anton seems to have got his legs back now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Koltun avoids the attempt from Anton to control. Koltun lands a heavy elbow. Koltun postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Anton looks a forlorn figure.
Anton bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Anton postures up.
Anton throws a big right hand that misses. Anton wants to pass the guard but Koltun is keeping the position. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Koltun manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Koltun breaks from Anton's wrist control and lands an elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marek Koltun dominated that round. The cut man is working on Stephan Anton's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Koltun feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Antons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Koltun throws a right hand that misses
and Anton counters with a takedown into side control. Koltun is looking to regain half guard here but Anton keeps moving and retains side control. Koltun is trying to control Anton's posture but Anton avoids it. Anton is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Koltun knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Marek Koltun has got the better of the ground game so far. Koltun is trying to improve his position. Anton looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Koltun is trying to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anton misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Koltun sneaks back into half guard. Anton trying to control the action but Koltun is working from the bottom. Koltun trying to control here.
Koltun slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Anton stopping the sweep attempt from Koltun.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anton wants to control from the top but Koltun keeps moving. Anton postures up in Koltun's guard and throws a big left but Koltun blocks it. Koltun utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Koltun trying to control the position.
Koltun keeping moving, preventing Anton from controlling successfully. Anton throws an elbow that misses. Koltun uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Anton's guard. Nice move by Koltun! Koltun is in close to Anton's body, working some short punches and elbows. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Koltun pushing down on Anton's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Koltun winds up and cracks Anton with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Koltun trying to pass the guard but Anton defending well. Anton is trying to stand back up but Koltun is controlling him
Koltun looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Anton is trying to get back to full guard. Koltun thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Anton's head. Anton won't allow Koltun to pass to mount. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Koltun connects with a nice short shot to Anton's temple. Koltun looking for a submission but Anton manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Anton wants to get back to his feet but Koltun is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Anton keeping moving, preventing Koltun from controlling successfully. Koltun slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Koltun tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Koltun fails to land a wild elbow strike.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Koltun working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Anton is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Koltun has just dragged him back down to the mat. Anton is trying to control Koltun's posture but Koltun avoids it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marek Koltun showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Stephan Anton's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Koltun uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Anton has time to react. Anton misses with a takedown and Koltun counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Anton takes one to the side of the head.
Anton tries for a takedown but Koltun circles away easily and Koltun counters with a lovely straight right hand! Anton closes this distance looking for a takedown but Koltun circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stephan Anton. That's going to take a lot out of him. Anton shoots and misses and Koltun counters with a straight right hand. Anton avoids the head kick by Koltun.
Koltun scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Anton doesn't seem bothered though. Anton has managed to clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round. A short right from Koltun on the inside. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Koltun struggles to land a body shot inside as Anton controls his hands.
Koltun throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Antons head. Koltun has a couple of punches blocked by Anton.
Anton can't get the takedown.

Koltun has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Koltun is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Anton is keeping busy. Koltun is persisting with his attempts to control the action in the clinch, rather than do any real damage. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Marek Koltun. A slapping leg kick lands for Koltun.
Koltun moves into range and clinches up with Anton. The referee is keeping an eye on Koltun - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Koltun throws a head punch that misses. Anton stalling in the clinch but Koltun improves position. Koltun displaying some good clinch control by pressing Anton up against the cage. Anton looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. The referee is keeping an eye on Koltun - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Koltun's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Koltun's jab looks to have found its range, popping Anton under the eye. Anton tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Koltun swivels and escapes. Koltun tests Anton's chin there with a solid looking shot. Koltun misses the body punch and Anton counters with a nice double leg into side control. Koltun won't be happy with that. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Anton landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Koltun is trying to get back to half guard. Koltun regains half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Koltun moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Stephan Anton has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Marek Koltun is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Koltun seems keen to control Anton's posture.
And that's the end of the fight! Marek Koltun comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Koltun has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
