Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jack Beam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bam Bam Rios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Beam! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bam Bam Rios! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Donatello Bradman and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beam takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Rios fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Beam throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Rios throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

A jab from Rios does it's job there. Beam tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rios paws at him with a jab and circles away. Sloppy strikes from Beam. Those never looked like landing. Rios throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Beam. Rios thows a body shot but no joy. Beam staying out of range there. Beam tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rios swats him away and circles back towards the center. Beam lands with a nice combination. Rios backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Bam Bam Rios has been cut. Rios looks to land a combination but Beam avoids it well. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rios jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Beam fails to land the takedown. Beam takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Beam really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Beam throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rios's waist but Rios gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Beam off to one side. Beam moves in looking to clinch but Rios pushes him off. Beam is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Rios throws a series of punches but Beam avoids them all with ease. Beam needs to keep his hands up - Rios had a free shot at his head there. Beam wants to clinch. Rios scores with a hook. Beam is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Beam is rocked! Rios lands a head shot. Oh Beam is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Rios goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Rios throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Beam doesn't manage to clinch there - Rios circles away.

Beam seems to have got his legs back now. Rios lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Beam shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rios pinned against the cage. Rios gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Beam. That's going to take a lot out of him. Beam tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rios swats him away and circles back towards the center. Beam takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Rios slips a jab from Beam. Rios misses with a wild combination.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Rios throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Beam stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Beam doesn't manage to clinch there - Rios circles away.
Rios lands with a straight right. Beam didn't see that one coming. Rios throws a series of punches but Beam moves out of range. Rios misses with a series of wild punches.
Beam looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Beam tries to clinch but Rios is having none of it. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rios misses with a few strikes there.
Donk. Rios catches Beam right on the button with a cross. Rios throws a right hand that Beam ducks under and follows up with a left that Beam also avoids with ease. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bam Bam Rios dominated that round. The cut man is working on Bam Bam Rios's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Jack Beam is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Rios throws a jab when Beam was well out of range. Rios throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Beam. Rios circles away from the clinch attempt.

Rios misses with a hook. Rios swats away the attempt to clinch by Beam. Beam shoots in for a takedown but Rios shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Beam gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beam is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Rios can't fight it off and eventually Beam manages to take the fight to the floor. Rios looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Rios throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Rios escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Beam gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Rios working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Beam doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Beam manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Beam gets to his feet - Rios follows without any prompting. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Rios throws a big shot that misses.

A lazy left from Rios finds it's target. Rios ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Bam Bam Rios seems to be getting the better of the standup. Beam avoids a punch combination nicely.

and Beam counters with a big head kick but Rios shrugs it off. Rios listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Rios throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Rios throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Bam Bam Rios is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Beam tries to clinch up. A telegraphed right hand from Rios misses the target. Bam Bam Rios seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Beam's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Rios swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Rios throws a big shot that misses. Beam tries to clinch but Rios moves out of range. Rios goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Beam is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Rios. Rios avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Beam forces Rios back against the cage and clinches. Beam is trying to drag Rios to the mat but Rios just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Beam tries to pull guard but Rios forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Beam is trying to maintain a safe position but Rios gets an underhook and turns Beam into the cage. Beam keeps control of Rios as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rios has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Beam is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Beam is trying to maintain a safe position but Rios gets an underhook and turns Beam into the cage. Rios prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Beam. That's going to take a lot out of him. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Rios as Beam tries to tie him up. Rios wants to get back to striking at distance but Beam won't allow it.
Beam gets control of Rios's arms and successfully pulls guard. Beam will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Rios wanted to stand there but Beam had control of the position. Beam is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Beam wants to sweep here but Rios controlling him for the moment. Beam has a closed guard, preventing Rios from standing up. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Beam dodges the punch combination from Rios.
Beam ducks under a wild hook from Rios. Beam will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rios keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Rios lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Beam circles away quickly and effectively. Rios throws a right hand that Beam ducks under and follows up with a left that Beam also avoids with ease. No joy there for Rios, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rios throws out a loose jab but Beam uses good head movement to avoid it. Beam tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rios sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Beam somewhat. Rios throws a nice looking combination but Beam bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Rios lands an overhand right. Rios throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Beam counters with a one-two to the body. Beam shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Beam will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rios looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Beam is trying to control the action in half guard but Rios is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Bam Bam Rios is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Rios looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Beam decides to stand and escape the position. Jack Beam has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
