Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Fyodor Pending (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshiro Makamori (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makamori uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
That kick from Makamori tenderised Pending's leg. Pending is trying to keep his angry face on.
Yoshiro Makamori seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Makamori throws a left that rocks Pending and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Makamori dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Pending regain composure!

It looks like Fyodor Pending has been cut.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Makamori tries for a kimura but Pending is defending well.

Pending drops his hands momentarily and Makamori takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Yoshiro Makamori is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Makamori has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Pending is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Makamori yanks on the arm and Pending is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Makamori.
