Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Schlomo Schlimo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dion Dupree (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schlimo comes to the cage accompanied by Be Happy. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Sam Margolis and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schlimo looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Schlimo slips nicely into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Schlimo controlling the pace.
Schlimo seems to be working for a kimura but Dupree defends the submission attempt.
Dupree tries to get to full guard but Schlimo has control of the leg.
Schlimo is trying to control the action in half guard but Dupree is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Dupree is pressing down on Schlimo's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Schlimo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Schlimo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Schlimo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dupree swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Dupree throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Dupree misses with a takedown
and Schlimo counters with a nice double leg into side control. Dupree won't be happy with that.
Dupree is looking for a sweep.
Dupree gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Dupree is in all sorts of trouble here.
Schlimo is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Dupree has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Dupree!
Dupree thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Schlimo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Dupree is looking to improve his position.
Dupree flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Dupree strikes from the bottom but Schlimo uses the opportunity to move to side control.
Dupree is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Schlimo working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Schlimo is breathing heavily.

Schlimo tries to move into full mount but can't pass Dupree's legs.
Dupree wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
Dupree tries to buck Schlimo off but Schlimo is having none of it.
Dupree throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

and Schlimo counters with a single leg into guard. Dupree didn't expect that.

and Schlimo counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Dupree's guard now.
Schlomo Schlimo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dion Dupree.

Dupree is looking to sweep but instead, Schlimo has passed into half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Dupree is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Schlimo is looking for a kimura but Dupree is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Schlimo to get the leverage.
Dupree tries to roll over but Schlimo keeps him under control.

Schlimo is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Dupree sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Schlimo passes to side control.
Dupree tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Schlimo slows the pace down.
Schlimo wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dupree, who protects the arm well.
Dupree is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Schlimo is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Dupree has escaped the position, nice work there.
Schlimo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dupree keeps working.
Dupree regains half guard.
Dupree wants to get back to full guard.
Dupree gets full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dupree is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Schlimo is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Dupree has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Schlimo is looking to defend but Dupree has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Schlimo! Dupree pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Schlimo taps out and this one is all over!
